Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films typically in the martial arts or horror genre. The style is similar like The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as some morbid pleasure from these films. She began reviewing in late 2009, and when she gained some notoriety in the forums (under the name of her former handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. She was on the website until mid-2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was transformed into Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts focus on the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The first time she reviewed a film was late 2009. She earned a great deal of popularity through Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of their family. She has made numerous appearances throughout Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and would often appear on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
